The Ultimate Glow-Up Checklist (90 Days)
A real glow up checklist is not a list of miracle products. It is a 90 day glow up built from small, repeatable habits across skin, hair, grooming, posture, sleep, style, fitness, and social life — done consistently enough that the change becomes visible. This is that checklist, week by week.
Ninety days is a good length for a glow-up: long enough for habits to show, and short enough to stay motivated. Skin takes weeks to respond to a new routine. Hair needs a cut or two to settle into a style. If a plan promises a total transformation in seven days, it is selling you something, not helping you.
How to use this checklist
Do not try to do everything on Day 1. Each phase adds a few habits on top of the last one, so by Day 90 you have a full routine that still feels manageable. If you miss a day, restart the next day — a missed day is not a failed glow-up.
Before you start: the one-time setup
- Take a "before" photo in natural daylight, facing a window, with a neutral expression. This is for your own comparison only.
- Write down your current routine: sleep time, skincare, exercise, and grooming habits.
- Clear out expired products, broken tools, and clothes you never wear.
- Book the appointments you keep putting off: haircut, dental check-up, and any health check you are due for.
Weeks 1–2: Foundations — sleep, skin, grooming
The first two weeks are about the highest-return basics: sleep, skin, and grooming.
Daily
- Sleep 7–9 hours with a roughly regular bedtime and wake time. Keep screens out of the last 30 minutes before bed.
- Wash your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser. Moisturise morning and evening. Use sunscreen during the day.
- Brush and floss. Shower, keep your nails clean and trimmed, and drink water through the day.
- Stand up, stretch, and reset your posture once an hour if you sit for long periods.
Once this fortnight
- Get a haircut that suits your hair type and is easy to maintain.
- Sort your wardrobe: keep what fits and you actually wear, and set aside the rest.
- Walk for 30 minutes on most days. The goal is the habit, not the distance.
Weeks 3–4: Hair, posture, and movement
With the basics in place, add hair care, posture work, and regular movement. These habits compound quietly and show the most by Day 60 and Day 90.
- Keep up the Week 1–2 routine without adding more products. Consistency matters more than variety.
- Do 5 minutes of posture work daily: chin tucks, shoulder rolls, and standing tall with relaxed shoulders. See our posture guide for the full routine.
- Move for 30 minutes a day: walking, cycling, dancing, or any sport you enjoy.
- Learn your hair type and choose a simple routine for it. Our hair and grooming guide covers the basics.
- Try two strength sessions a week: bodyweight squats, push-ups, rows, and planks. Start light and focus on form.
Weeks 5–6: Style and grooming details
Now that skin, hair, and posture are improving, turn to style and the smaller grooming details that make an outfit look finished.
- Dress with intention: clean, well-fitting clothes that suit the day ahead.
- Keep facial hair intentional — tidy a beard or shave cleanly, whichever you prefer.
- Build a small capsule of basics that fit well: clean shoes, dark trousers or jeans, a few good shirts, one jacket. Our style guide explains how to do this affordably.
- Take a progress photo in the same light and place as your "before" photo, and compare calmly.
Weeks 7–8: Food, energy, and social habits
A glow-up is not only about appearance. Energy and social confidence are part of how you come across, and both respond to steady habits.
- Eat a generally balanced diet: enough protein, vegetables and fruit, and fewer ultra-processed foods and sugary drinks. No crash diets and no extreme rules.
- Limit alcohol, or skip it. It affects sleep, skin, and mood more than most people expect.
- Have one real conversation a day — in person if possible. Ask questions, listen properly, and put your phone away.
- Do one thing you enjoy that is not a screen: a hobby, a walk with a friend, cooking, or sport.
Weeks 9–10: Refine and personalise
By now you know which habits work for you and which feel like a chore. Keep the ones that work, adjust the ones that do not.
- Keep the core routine tight: sleep, skincare, grooming, posture, movement, one social moment.
- Adjust gently for your skin and hair — for example, a lighter moisturiser in humid weather. Do not overhaul everything at once.
- Get your second haircut of the plan, and take another progress photo. Look for steady change, not perfection.
Weeks 11–12: Lock in the routine and look ahead
The last two weeks are about turning 90 days of effort into a routine you can keep without thinking about it.
- Run the full routine on autopilot: it should feel normal by now, not like a project.
- Keep one rest day a week lighter — shorter workouts, simpler meals, and time to recover.
- Take a final progress photo and write down what changed and what you want to keep.
- Reward yourself for consistency, not for a number on a scale or a score.
What a 90-day glow-up will not do
It will not change your bone structure, your height, your genetics, or your skin tone — and no routine, exercise, or product honestly promises that. What it will do, if you stick with it, is leave you better groomed, better rested, fitter, better dressed, and more comfortable in your own skin. That is a real result, and it is enough.

What is a 90-day glow-up?
A 90-day glow-up is a realistic plan for improving grooming, skin, hair, posture, sleep, style, fitness, and daily habits over about three months. It is long enough for habits to show, but short enough to stay motivated.
Can you really glow up in 90 days?
You can make visible, meaningful progress in 90 days — clearer skin, better grooming, improved posture, more energy, and a tidier wardrobe. You will not completely transform your face or body in that time, and any plan that promises that is not honest.
What should I do first in a glow-up?
Start with sleep, grooming, and a simple skincare routine. Those three give the fastest visible return and make every other habit easier to stick to.
How do I stay consistent for 90 days?
Keep the daily list short, track it simply, and expect imperfect weeks. Missing a day is normal. Restart the next day rather than quitting, and review your progress every two weeks instead of judging yourself daily.
